Former MBLAQ member Thunder shares his thoughts about his latest solo debut.
On Thunder’s recent showcase for his first mini-album, “Thunder,” he revealed that he was nervous for his comeback.
He also talked about his 2-year hiatus by saying, “It was a time when the future looked bleak. I did not even know if I could be able to release an album. There were times when I felt like giving up, and it was quite difficult. However, those feelings were dissipated through the lyrics of ‘Magic Spell.’”
Thunder also added, “Since it was very long before I could make my comeback, the stage is a little scary to me right now. It was still enjoyable the day before yesterday, but I felt scared last night before I fell asleep. As I performed on stage, I felt better. I gave it my all.”
With regards to his image, he said, “I wanted to show a cool performance. However, my face is not the sexy type, so I was really worried. But, things like gestures, clothes, hair, and makeup could help with that. I told myself that I should practice and just go for it.”
Meanwhile, since his departure from MBLAQ, Thunder went on to appear in the dramas, “Make A Woman Cry,” “We Broke Up” and “Woman with a Suitcase.”
He released his self-titled mini album on December 7 under Mystic Entertainment, along with the promotional track, “Sign” which features Goo Hara.
Actress Nam Ji Hyun talks about exchanging phone numbers with Kim Yoo Jung at the ‘2016 Asia Artist Awards’ after photos of them together goes viral.
She revealed, “I did not think that photos of us exchanging phone numbers would be taken. To be honest, Kim Yoo Jung’s mother and my mother are really close. I never worked with her or met her in private before. But, we consistently heard about each other. I got to meet her for the first time during the awards ceremony.”
“We exchanged greetings in the waiting room. It felt like everyone else was leaving so I told her, ‘I would like to know your phone number. However, I have no cellphone. I want to give you my phone number.’ She had her phone then, so we exchanged numbers. I also told her that we should get food together next time and become closer,” Nam Ji Hyun then shared.
She also added, “When I was on my way home, I saw the photos and got surprised. Since it felt like everyone else was leaving, I thought that the reports had all left as well. I was fascinated that a lot of people responded to something so small.”
Nam Ji Hyun recently starred in the drama, “Shopping King Louie” while Kim Yoo Jung starred in the drama, “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds.”

Actor Go Kyung Pyo reveals the reason why he wants to go to SBS’ “Running Man.”
On the actor’s recent interview, the actor was asked if he wanted to appear on any variety show. Go Kyung Pyo shared, “It will be great to go on variety shows. However, I have no talent. I think that variety shows and ‘SNL Korea’ have a different personality. When I appeared on ‘SNL Korea,’ it was just like a performance. You would have to plan it out and practice. So, I thought of it more like a performance than a variety show.”
The actor then continued, “I am no fun on variety shows. I am awkward, and I lack overall experience, so I really do not have much to say. I also get nervous, and it is difficult. That is why I think that people who do variety shows are great.”
“So far, I have been on ‘Happy Together,’ ‘Strong Heart,’ ‘Infinity Challenge,’ and more. However, I have never been to ‘Running Man.’ In the show, you just complete a mission, run and participate. However, I have never been contacted. Jo Jung Suk hyung recently went there, so I was jealous,” Go Kyung Pyo added.
When asked about who he wants to go to ‘Running Man’ with, he named Joo Won, Shin Joo Hwan, and Min Jin Woong and said, “I think that it will be great to go on the show with them since I have personal relations with them. Also, I know Yoo Jae Suk hyung and go to the same fitness gym with Kim Jong Kook hyung, so I would really want to go on the show.”
