BIGBANG leader G-Dragon revealed the story as to how co-member Taeyang first met his current girlfriend actress Min Hyo Rin.
On the broadcast of “Radio Star,” Taeyang shared the story about his hit song, “Eyes, Nose, Lips.”
He stated, “It is a story based on my life. There have been a lot of rumors that it is a song about someone else. However, it is really a song which came out when I met Min Hyo Rin.”
Hearing this, G-Dragon then chimed in, “When Taeyang was planning to film his music video, he was wondering as to who should be his female co-star,” referring to Taeyang’s music video for, “1AM.”
G-Dragon then added, “I suggested a friend of my friend since I thought that they would look great together. It turned out that Taeyang had already had her in mind.”
“When I went to the music video set, I saw Taeyang smiling from ear to ear despite it being a sad song,” the BIGBANG leader continued, making Taeyang laugh.
G-Dragon then went on and enacting a scene where Taeyang was supposed to be hugging Min Hyo Rin sadly, but he saw him grinning.
In June of 2015, Taeyang and Min Hyo Rin went public with their relationship and confirmed that they have been dating for over 2 years. Rumors of their relationship started when Min Hyo Rin appeared on Taeyang’s music video and when fans spotted them on dates and wearing couple items.

BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Taeyang recall their rookie days.
On a recent interview, G-Dragon shared, “When we first debuted, we released lots of singles. If we happen to re-release it now, people would think that they are new songs since there are a lot of people who does not know them. These days, when rookies debut and top the charts, people would call it a successful debut. However, when we were rookies, it was not that kind of system.”
“We have started from the bottom, and tried many things. We have even came out with one single per month and performed them, to the point that camera directors were feeling sorry for us. They told us, ‘You guys must be struggling’,” he added. “Back then, we were poor-looking,” G-Dragon shared while smiling.
Taeyang also revealed, “We were hungry for success. We did not care about anything else.”
“We would get up in the morning and if there were no schedules, we go to lessons, clean up the apartment and sleep. We did almost every variety shows. We went to all stage performances. We would make the choreography, write music, record them and perform concerts. It was difficult,” G-Dragon continued.
Taeyang then expressed his gratefulness by saying, “Back then, I would go and do interviews and take photos at different media companies. Thank you for coming all the way here for us. Sorry and thank you. Even if we are lacking in some ways, we hope that you could understand. Please be careful of the cold.”

Both agencies of I.O.I’s Somi and UP10TION’s Wooshin respond to the recent physical contact controversy on SBS’ music show, “The Show.”
The controversy began when “The Show” posted a video with MCs Somi and Wooshin sending their Christmas greetings to fans. In the said video, it appeared to some people that Wooshin had placed his hand on Somi’s chest area. As a result, viewers are calling out Wooshin and demanding him to apologize to Somi and her fans.
Following this, “The Show” then released a statement, saying, “The staff were there on the location when the MCs were filming this video footage. The scene was filmed with Somi and Wooshin keeping a reasonable distance between each other. We hope that there would be no more misunderstanding that would come regarding this issue.”
I.O.I’s management agency, YMC Entertainment, also stated, “Somi is taken aback because of all of the speculative comments. There is no truth to this controversy.”
TOP Media, agency of UP10TION, said that Somi and Wooshin checked the video before giving their permission for it to be posted. They also explained, “The physical contact that is being alleged did not happen.”
The agency then added, “Wooshin has promised to be more careful in the future in order to avoid causing such misunderstanding as a public figure again.”

On the recent broadcast of “Radio Star,” Seo Yuri revealed, “5 years before, I met Kyuhyun in Spain at a Korean bed and breakfast place. One day, this guy walks in, and my friend says, ‘I think that he is a celebrity’ and I told her, ‘Why would a celebrity come to a bed and breakfast place?’”Voice actress and TV personality Seo Yuri shared a story as to how she met Super Junior Kyuhyun five years ago in Spain before her debut.
She added, “After looking at him for a while, we realized that he was a celebrity. We drank wine together all night.”
The MCs then made fun of Kyuhyun for trying to pick up girls, to which he explained, “I stayed there for a total of 3 nights, and I just stayed in my room at night and drank alone. On the last night, one of the guests invited me to drink with him and other Koreans so I joined them.”
Seo Yuri then commented, “I was impressed to see him at a humble bed and breakfast since he seemed like he would only stay at nice hotels.”
The female star then added, “However, we did exchange phone numbers,” making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Seo Yuri is known for being a cast member of the variety shows, “Saturday Night Live Korea,” “My Little Television” and “Code: Secret Room.”

Former MBLAQ member Thunder shares his thoughts about his latest solo debut.
On Thunder’s recent showcase for his first mini-album, “Thunder,” he revealed that he was nervous for his comeback.
He also talked about his 2-year hiatus by saying, “It was a time when the future looked bleak. I did not even know if I could be able to release an album. There were times when I felt like giving up, and it was quite difficult. However, those feelings were dissipated through the lyrics of ‘Magic Spell.’”
Thunder also added, “Since it was very long before I could make my comeback, the stage is a little scary to me right now. It was still enjoyable the day before yesterday, but I felt scared last night before I fell asleep. As I performed on stage, I felt better. I gave it my all.”
With regards to his image, he said, “I wanted to show a cool performance. However, my face is not the sexy type, so I was really worried. But, things like gestures, clothes, hair, and makeup could help with that. I told myself that I should practice and just go for it.”
Meanwhile, since his departure from MBLAQ, Thunder went on to appear in the dramas, “Make A Woman Cry,” “We Broke Up” and “Woman with a Suitcase.”
He released his self-titled mini album on December 7 under Mystic Entertainment, along with the promotional track, “Sign” which features Goo Hara.
