Both agencies of I.O.I’s Somi and UP10TION’s Wooshin respond to the recent physical contact controversy on SBS’ music show, “The Show.”
The controversy began when “The Show” posted a video with MCs Somi and Wooshin sending their Christmas greetings to fans. In the said video, it appeared to some people that Wooshin had placed his hand on Somi’s chest area. As a result, viewers are calling out Wooshin and demanding him to apologize to Somi and her fans.
Following this, “The Show” then released a statement, saying, “The staff were there on the location when the MCs were filming this video footage. The scene was filmed with Somi and Wooshin keeping a reasonable distance between each other. We hope that there would be no more misunderstanding that would come regarding this issue.”
I.O.I’s management agency, YMC Entertainment, also stated, “Somi is taken aback because of all of the speculative comments. There is no truth to this controversy.”
TOP Media, agency of UP10TION, said that Somi and Wooshin checked the video before giving their permission for it to be posted. They also explained, “The physical contact that is being alleged did not happen.”
The agency then added, “Wooshin has promised to be more careful in the future in order to avoid causing such misunderstanding as a public figure again.”

On the recent broadcast of “Radio Star,” Seo Yuri revealed, “5 years before, I met Kyuhyun in Spain at a Korean bed and breakfast place. One day, this guy walks in, and my friend says, ‘I think that he is a celebrity’ and I told her, ‘Why would a celebrity come to a bed and breakfast place?’”Voice actress and TV personality Seo Yuri shared a story as to how she met Super Junior Kyuhyun five years ago in Spain before her debut.
She added, “After looking at him for a while, we realized that he was a celebrity. We drank wine together all night.”
The MCs then made fun of Kyuhyun for trying to pick up girls, to which he explained, “I stayed there for a total of 3 nights, and I just stayed in my room at night and drank alone. On the last night, one of the guests invited me to drink with him and other Koreans so I joined them.”
Seo Yuri then commented, “I was impressed to see him at a humble bed and breakfast since he seemed like he would only stay at nice hotels.”
The female star then added, “However, we did exchange phone numbers,” making everyone laugh.
Meanwhile, Seo Yuri is known for being a cast member of the variety shows, “Saturday Night Live Korea,” “My Little Television” and “Code: Secret Room.”

Rapper Kasper talks about her personality and passion for music.
On her recent interview with Arena magazine, Kasper shares,“Normally, I am actually an introverted person. I do not really have that much confidence. On recent interview and photo shoot with @star1 magazine,Seohyun shares Girls’ Generation’s plans for the future and the differences of living the life as a celebrity.
She shares, “We treat each other like family members rather than just coworkers.”
The Girls’ Generation member also adds, “We talk a lot about our future. We always say that we will meet again with our children in twenty years. I really hope that it would happen like that in the future.”
Aside from her promotions with Girls’ Generation and its sub-unit TaeTiSeo, Seohyun has also ventured into acting. Wonder Girls’ member Yeeun talks about her relationship with 2AM member and former JYP Entertainmentlabelmate, Jinwoon.
Previously, it was reported that Yeeun and Jinwoon have been dating for almost three years. According to sources, Yeeun would record the demo version of the songs that she composed while Jinwoon plays the guitar and that the two idols have given each other instruments as gifts.
In response to the dating reports, JYP Entertainment and Mystic Entertainment gave a joint statement, revealing:

Girls’ Generation member Hyoyeon opens up about her trainee days at SM Entertainment.
During the recent broadcast of Mnet’s dance battle program, “Hit the Stage,” the show prepared stages with the concept “The Fight.”
In line with this concept, Hyoyeon relates the concept to her personal experience when she was still a trainee at SM Entertainment. She shares, “I fought a lot with myself.”
Hyoyeon also adds, “When I got into SM Entertainment as a trainee, there were weekly and monthly evaluations. It was a time for us trainees to choose how to show off our appeal. Although the other trainees were my friends, there were also my rivals as well.
